Our History.

KRG Enterprises emerged from a genuine passion for woodworking, transforming a hands-on craft into a thriving business. Founded in 1984 by Kevin Gottlieb, the company started in a modest 1,500 square foot workshop, with a focus on creating custom cabinets and furniture for residential clients.

As the reputation for KRG's distinctive custom millwork spread, the need for more space became evident. In 1987, we moved to a larger 15,000 square foot facility on Benner Street, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This new space not only facilitated our growth, but also allowed us to refine our craft and expand our offerings.

The 1990s marked a period of dynamic growth and innovation for KRG. We embraced cutting-edge technologies and established valuable partnerships, significantly enhancing our production capabilities and our design approach. This era set the stage for a pivotal shift in our focus towards the retail sector, leveraging our expertise on a grander scale.

2005 was another landmark year for KRG Enterprises, as we moved to our current premises on Blue Grass Road. Our present 156,000 square foot facility brings together our office, operations, and production under one roof, streamlining our processes and fostering a collaborative environment.

Today, KRG is home to a dedicated team of around 100 individuals, many of whom have been part of our story since the early days. Our journey of growth and transformation has never swayed our commitment to innovation, excellence, and unmatched craftsmanship.
